Medical, Vision & Dental Plan
Daycon offers a comprehensive package of group insurance benefits. All full time, regular employees are eligible to enroll in Daycon’s insurance programs. Medical, Vision & Dental coverage becomes effective thirty (30) days following the employee’s first day of employment. Open Enrollment for coverage is every year on March 1st. Employees pay a small portion of the total cost for these benefits.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Daycon offers a unique way of funding employee benefits that allows you to increase your take-home pay. A Flexible Benefits Plan reduces taxable income by allowing you to pay for qualified expenses before taxes are taken from your check. (e.g. health & dependant care cost can be paid for with pre-tax salary dollars through payroll deductions.). As an added benefit and for your convenience, Daycon offers a Flexible Spending Account Debit Card.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Daycon encourages employees to plan for their retirement through the Daycon 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan. The 401(k) plan is a long-range tax deferred savings program. Full & part time employees who are at least 21 years of age are eligible to enroll in the retirement plan on January 1st & July 1st after completing ninety (90) days of service and at least 250 hours of employment. Daycon makes a contribution each pay period to the Plan for those participants who make deferrals based on a vesting schedule.

Short Term Disability (STD)
Regular full-time employees of Daycon are eligible for STD benefits. These benefits are provided to employees at no cost when they become disabled and are unable to work for more than five (5) consecutive days. To be eligible for STD, an employee must be employed for 12 months and submit appropriate medical documentation.
